President Volodymyr Zelenskyi: “The situation is under control”
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi addressed the nation in connection with the Russian threat. He assured that Ukraine is committed to a political and diplomatic settlement, and asked not to succumb to provocations.
“We have been ready for everything for a long time. But there is no reason for your sleepless night. We can well distinguish between provocations and attacks by the aggressor’s troops. For us – the truth. And we will never hide the truth from you. As soon as we see a change in the situation, as soon as we see an increase in risks – you will know all this. There is currently no reason for chaotic action. We will do our best to keep it that way. We are committed to a peaceful and diplomatic path, we will follow it and only it. We are on our own land, we are not afraid of anyone or anything, we do not owe anyone or anything, and we will not give anything to anyone, and we are sure of that, “Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.
The President thanked all the citizens of Ukraine who remain calm and prove that Ukrainians are a smart and wise nation.
