Who is the “Comfort” program for?

The “Comfort” program is the full route to parenthood in Mexico. Everything from selecting the surrogate mother and creating your embryos to the documents issued in Mexico is covered by the program.

The “Comfort” Program
The program covers one complete attempt at assisted reproduction: the IVF stage, preparation of the surrogate mother and one embryo transfer. A 3% discount applies if the full amount is paid at the signing of the agreement.

What is included in the program?
Parent care & coordination- a dedicated case manager – online, in person or by phone;
- management and monitoring of the process from beginning to end;
- monthly updates on the progress of the pregnancy, prepared by healthcare professionals;
- personal language assistance during your clinic visit;
- accommodation in Cancún at a discounted rate in contracted hotels and apartments, on request.
The organisational side is covered, leaving you to focus on what matters most – your future child.
Legal and document support- drafting of the agreement between you and the surrogate mother;
- translation of the necessary documents;
- legal counsel and assistance in obtaining your child’s birth certificate and Mexican passport;
- registration formalities for your child after the birth.
The agreement is governed by the law of the State of Sinaloa and the jurisdiction of its courts. All medical care and the delivery take place in Cancún.
Prenatal parentage order (optional, $10,000). This is a court procedure carried out in Mexico during the pregnancy. It is not required in order to obtain the birth certificate, but in a number of countries it makes the subsequent recognition of parenthood easier. Whether it makes sense in your case is discussed at the consultation.
Not included: apostilles issued in your country of origin. You will also need your own legal counsel at home to complete the recognition of parenthood there.
The medical cycle: from IVF to birthProgram launch:
- consultation and review of your medical records, and agreement on the biological material to be used – your own cells where possible, or donor material approved by the medical team.
IVF:
- a full IVF cycle using your own eggs (where possible) and/or donor eggs;
- if a donor is needed, her selection and compensation are included.
Embryo transfer:
- endometrial preparation of the surrogate mother and the embryo transfer.
During the pregnancy:
- monitoring of the process by the clinic, with a monthly report from healthcare professionals.
Birth:
- delivery in a private hospital in Cancún, in a private room.
Cryopreservation of your embryos and sperm is included for the first 12 months.
Medical coverage for the surrogate mother and the newborn is optional but strongly recommended. If you choose not to take it, you will be asked to sign a consent form confirming that you accept full financial responsibility for any medical expenses that may arise during the pregnancy, the delivery and the postnatal period.
Surrogate mother selection & support- medical and psychological evaluation before she is accepted;
- compensation and monthly support;
- transport and accommodation expenses;
- accommodation in Cancún during her stay, if needed;
- psychological support throughout the process and follow-up support after delivery;
- independent psychological and legal counsel throughout the pregnancy.
Every surrogate mother is usually aged 20–35 (or older, if a medical specialist confirms she is fit for a healthy pregnancy), already has a child of her own, has had no more than two Caesarean sections or four vaginal deliveries, has not been pregnant in the 365 days before the transfer, and has a BMI below 30. If she is married, her husband’s written consent is required.
If a medical report shows that a candidate is unsuitable, another candidate is selected.
4 steps to parenthood: how the program works
You plan two visits to Mexico – one for the IVF stage and one for the birth. Everything in between is handled without you.
Consultation & selection
You join the program remotely. Your medical records are reviewed, the biological material to be used is agreed with the medical team, your questions answered, and the search for a surrogate mother begins. Her general details are provided before the agreement is signed.
Program launch & the IVF stage
You sign the agreement – remotely or in person in Cancún – and travel to the clinic for the IVF stage: egg retrieval and/or the sperm sample, depending on the material chosen. If donor eggs are needed, the donor is selected together with the medical team, and her compensation is covered by the program. Your embryos are created and cryopreserved at the clinic.
We Work, You Stay Home
The surrogate mother is prepared and the embryo transfer is carried out. From then on you receive a monthly report on the pregnancy, prepared by healthcare professionals. If you have chosen the prenatal parentage order, the court filing begins during this stage.
Final visit to Cancún
You arrive shortly before the due date to be there for the birth and to complete the documents.

Are there any additional costs beyond $62,900?
The program cost of $62,900 covers the core services, including the IVF stage and donor eggs if they are needed. In certain cases additional costs may apply:
- Prenatal parentage order – $10,000, paid in three parts: $5,000 at signature of this agreement, $3,000 at signature of the agreement with the surrogate mother, $2,000 at the birth
- Medical coverage for the surrogate mother and the newborn, including NICU care up to 30 days – $6,900
- Twin birth – $5,000
- Preimplantation genetic testing PGT-A/NGS, up to 5 embryos – $3,000 (+$300 per additional embryo)
- DNA test – $800
- Cryopreservation beyond the first 12 months – $500 per year
These amounts are fixed in the agreement and cannot be changed without your consent. Specialist physician fees and your own travel expenses are not covered.
Whose eggs and sperm can be used?
Your own, a donor’s, or a combination of the two. The options are your own eggs (assessed on AMH level, age and medical history), donor eggs, your own sperm (assessed on motility, morphology, count and DNA fragmentation) and donor sperm. The final combination is agreed with the clinic’s medical team before the agreement is signed. If donor eggs are needed, the donor and her compensation are covered by the program.
Should I take the medical coverage?
We strongly recommend it. It covers care for the surrogate mother and the newborn during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period, including neonatal intensive care for up to 30 days if needed. If you choose not to take it, you will be asked to sign a form confirming that you accept full financial responsibility for any medical expenses that arise during the process.
What does “one complete attempt” mean?
The program covers the whole cycle once: creating your embryos, preparing the surrogate mother, and one embryo transfer.
If you would prefer certainty from the start, our All Inclusive program covers an unlimited number of attempts with one gestational carrier until the delivery of a live-born child.
Can the program be started remotely?
The agreement can be signed remotely and the whole preparation stage is handled without you travelling. Unlike our shipped-embryo program, however, this one includes the IVF stage, so you come to Cancún twice: once for the retrieval and the sample, and once for the birth and the documents.
Is genetic testing of the embryos included?
No. Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A/NGS) is an option rather than part of the base program – $3,000 for up to five embryos, and $300 for each additional embryo. Whether it is worth doing depends on your age, your medical history and the number of embryos obtained, and we will go through that with you.
Is this program available to single parents and same-sex couples?
Yes. Mexico places no marital-status requirement and no requirement to prove infertility. Same-sex couples and single parents join on the same terms as anyone else. In some cases additional documentation is requested, and we prepare it with you.
How does this program differ from the others?
“Comfort” is the full cycle: it includes the IVF stage, which is why it costs more than “Comfort with Shipped Embryos” – that one is for parents who already have embryos and only need the final stage. If you want an unlimited number of attempts rather than one, see “All Inclusive”.
